Crisis Response Programs and Training offers a 4-day in-person train-the-trainer of this CRIT course.  Attendees will not only learn how to deliver the training, but also learn how to select and prepare site visits, select and train course instructors, conduct scenario based training, select and train role players, deliver a 16-hour de-escalation skills and strategies version, and so much more.

All of our instructors have years of experience with delivering crisis response intervention training and working in crisis response services.  Our instructors will call upon their experience and expertise to make certain that participants will leave feeling confident in corrdinating this training in their communities.

CRIT 16-hour De-escalation Skills and Strategies Course

Crisis Response Programs and Training has adapted the 40-hour CRIT curriculum for a 16-hour de-escalation training for all law enforcement officers.  For those who complete the train-the-trainer, they will not only be trained on how to deliver the full 40-hour course of instruction for law enforcement crisis response specialist, but will receive the modified curriculum and instruction on delivering the 16- hour course of instruction appropriate to train all law enforcement  officers in the same de-escalation skills and strategies.

CRIT for Corrections

Crisis Response Programs and Training has adapted the 40-hour CRIT curriculum for a course dedicated to corrections.  This course provides minor modifications to selected modules, recommendations for site visits, and includes correction-based scenarios.
